Camping allowed:  Yes

Do you offer concessions at your event:  Yes

  • Gate Fees 1 day, $15; 2 days, $25; 3 days, $35; Children 10 and under, free.  Dry RV & tent camping included in gate fee.  Showers and water are available at the track.  RV pump-out services for accessible RV’s, $25.

  • NOISE CURFEW 11:00 pm (Music, Loud Talking, Engines, etc.).

  • Many of our RV sites are provided to our sponsors. 
    RV sites not taken by sponsors will be available on a first come, first served basis at $35 per night site rental.  Reservations recommended.

  • Unlimited Dry Primitive Camping (included in gate fee) info can be found by clicking here.

Thursday, April 15th:
Gates locked at 11:00pm

Friday, April 16th:  Gates open 6:00am, Gates locked at midnight

  • Trials:  Sign-up at 8am, start time 9am.

  • Cross Country:  Sign-up 9am till noon; Rider meeting at noon. Sighting lap, all riders at 12:30pm, Vintage race at 1:00pm, Post Vintage race at 3:00pm.

  • Approx 4:00-5:00pm – early sign up for Vintage.

  • Evening approx 6:30pm – BBQ, Crawfish and music by The Chris LeBlanc,
    www.ChrisLeBlancBand.com.  BandRaffle and Auction to underwrite AHRMA Awards presentation.

Saturday, April 17th:  Gates open 6:00am, Gates locked at midnight

  • Vintage:  Sign-up at 7am, mandatory rider’s meeting 8:30am,
    practice at 9am, racing at 10am.

  • Approx 3:00-5:00pm – early Sign-up for Post-Vintage.

  • 2009 Off Road Awards presentation (train transportation available to/from event). Social Hour 6 (no-host bar), Dinner 7pm, Awards 8pm

Sunday, April 18th:  Gates open at 6:00am

  • Memorial Service in honor of Richie Vallandingham, under the green tent, at 7:30am ~ Steve Wise, Christ Ministries, Inc., & Roy Jenkins, Chaplain.  Church Service, under the green tent, at 8:00am, Steve Wise, Christ Ministries, Inc.,
    & Roy Jenkins, Chaplain.

  • Post Vintage:  Sign-up at 7am, mandatory rider’s meeting, 8:30am, practice
    at 9am, racing at 10am.
    ~Parade lap honoring Richie Vallandingham for friends and family after
    practice

  • ~Wind-down Party after trophy presentation with fantastic fireworks show
    Stay the night and relax before the trek home.

General info: 

  • Natural terrain track – 40-50 ft wide to allow passing/Big Air jump,
    wide open start and more of the track in the grassy field; lots of new dirt;
    tunnel for spectators to cross under the track; great spectator viewing. 
  • Historic Jefferson has lots of B&B’s, antiques, museums, steam train,
    boat rides.

Directions:
From Hwy 59, take Hwy 49 East toward Downtown Jefferson.  Left at Y in Road,
Hwy 49 East toward Smithland.  Track one mile on Right.  Signs will be posted.

NOTE:  DO NOT PUT THE RV PARK ADDRESS INTO YOUR GPS AS YOU WILL END UP IN LOUISIANA.  We are one mile from downtown Jefferson.  If you want to program GPS, insert 404 E. Broadway; Jefferson, TX.  This will take you to the Brookshire's grocery store on Broadway.  Move to the left lane and continue past Brookshire's.  Turn left at the stop sign, heading east on Hwy 49 toward Smithland.  The RV park is one mile on the right.
