If you plan to fly to the event, Jefferson is located just 50 miles from Shreveport, Louisiana. The racetrack is a short mile from Jefferson. Transportation into downtown Jefferson will be available on the Jefferson & Cypress Bayou Railway, owned by Diamond Don Rainey, Francene DePrez, her son, Destry Brown and his wife, Karen Brown. Take a step back in time aboard their narrow gauge, live steam locomotive. So grab the kids and leave the guys at the track -- catch the train into town for some shopping and amusements.

Jefferson is 160 miles East on I-20 from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex and 50 miles west of Shreveport, LA.  Go North 15 miles on US Hwy 59 at Marshall to the Historic Riverport of Jefferson. From Hwy 59, take Hwy 49 East toward Downtown Jefferson.  Left at Y in Road, Hwy 49 East toward Smithland.  Track one mile on Right.  Signs will be posted.
