Tragically, we lost a friend, hero and legend on Sunday, August 6, 2006

Jim Pomeroy was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999. He rode his Bultaco to victory in the 1973 World Motocross Grand Prix, becoming the first American to win a World Championship Motocross Grand Prix. Pomeroy felt this was his greatest accomplishment. “It was America’s first ever GP win. It helped build my confidence, but it also helped build the confidence of other American riders. I proved that America could compete on the world level.”
